UPCOMING EXHIBITION
Ai is a VAMPIRE
The relationship between human knowledge and AI is symbiotic but also fraught with ethical and philosophical questions about authorship, responsibility, the future of creativity and humanity. I concluded that humans are the ‹source code› of AI development. Our collective knowledge and understanding of the world, form the basis on which AI algorithms are built and refined. My intent is to invite a necessary and ongoing conversation about the role of humanity in shaping the tools that, in turn, shape us.
LIGHT/SPEED
To capture the dynamic of FORMULA 1, I abstracted the photography in-camera to capture the exhilaration and speed of the sport. Printed onto brushed steel, I added genuine neon.
POP ART
TRUMP AUTOMATIC
During the the first election of Donald Trump, I made a collection of his tweets. It is important that we not lose this strategic mass communication that created the MAGA movement, influenced and mobilised masses. It is an insight into the a medium that swayed the populace and created a fervor. Utilizing consumer packaging to display the tweets and comments for posterity. The tweets vacillate between comedy, ridicule, mockery, accusations, paranoia, insecurity, and other. Most seem unfiltered and naive.
TYPE ART
HUMANS VS HUMANITY
In a world that is a battleground for our attention, we are distracted by design. How do we gift our undivided and undistracted attention to the moment and the ones we love? Are we fully present in any given space and time? Is the memory more valuable than the pervasive photo op?
ABSTRACTS
OPEN DOORS
This series was inspired by the international refugee crisis. There are continual oppressive regimes and a struggle for displaced peoples. I created this series utilizing a primary color palette as witnessed by our eyes and hope to inspire awareness and compassion when we witness the displaced.
